At this year’s international CICE25 conference on fiber-reinforced composites (12th International Conference on Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) Composites in Civil Engineering), recent advances in fiber reinforcement were discussed — ranging from simulation and composite analysis to practical applications.
The Collaborative Research Center TRR 280 was also represented with key contributions on:
- Mineral impregnation of carbon and glass fibers
- Mechanical behavior at high temperatures
- Formable textiles for complex geometries
- Digital fabrication of shell-like carbon concrete structures
