University-wide inaugural lecture - Christina Scheffler

Christina Scheffler has been Professor of Polymers in Construction since 2024. Her lecture, “Beyond Concrete: Fibers and Polymers for Tomorrow’s Buildings,” focuses on the development of fiber-reinforced composite materials with mineral matrices aimed at efficient material use, high mechanical performance, and extended service life. She highlights the structuring of fiber surfaces and interfaces, as well as the establishment of recycling concepts.

The next university-wide inaugural lecture, “Beyond Concrete: Fibers and Polymers for Tomorrow’s Buildings,” with Prof. Scheffler will take place on:
