The BEFIB 2024 is the eleventh edition in a series of international symposia which are organized every four years and which became the key conference on Fiber Reinforced Concrete (FRC). The conference will take place September 15-18, 2024 in Dresden, Germany – often referred to as the “Florence at the Elbe River” – with its historical city center adorned with unique sights dating back to the baroque era.

The aim of BEFIB 2024 is to present and discuss recent scientific and technological developments in the field of FRC, including strain-hardening cementitious composites (SHCC), textile reinforced concrete (TRC) and other novel materials. The conference is intended for a broad international audience, ranging from researchers from a variety of scientific disciplines to professionals in structural and material engineering and industry specialists. It includes structural and construction engineers, builders and building consultants, construction industry persons, researchers, students, product manufacturers, material suppliers, project managers and contract administrators, asset managers, government authorities of infrastructure development and others.

Digital Concrete 2024 / 4th RILEM International Conference on Concrete and Digital Fabrication: 4th to 6th September 2024 - Munich, Germany

DC 2024 is a 'must attend' event for researchers, engineers, architects as well as foresighted individuals from industry, politics and organizations to share and discuss the latest technological innovations within the AEC sector. The DC 2024 will take place in Germany and will be hosted by the Collaborative Research Centre TRR 277 "Additive Manufacturing in Construction (AMC)", the Technische Universität Braunschweig and the Technical University of Munich.

Auch in den kommenden Sommerferien wird „das Beton Kunst Projekt“ in Dresden und Aachen seine Türen öffnen! Im Rahmen des SFB/TRR280 werden Kinder, Jugendliche, Künstler und Wissenschaftlergemeinsam ihrer Kreativität freien Lauf lassen. Nachhaltig und schöpferisch wollen wir den Nachwuchs für das Thema „Bauen in der Zukunft mit Beton“ begeistern. Das Beton-Kunst-Projekt wird in die mittlerweile dritte Runde gehen, nach den sehr erfolgreichen Auftaktveranstaltungen in den Vorjahren. Wir freuen uns darauf, dieses interessante Angebot für Schülerinnen und Schüler auch dieses Jahr wieder anbieten zu können.
