On March 18, 2021, Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Josef Hegger was awarded the Emil-Mörsch-Denkmünze (Emil-Mörsch Memorial Medal) during the Virtual Civil Engineering Day. It is considered the highest award of the DBV and honors personalities who have distinguished themselves through special achievements in the field of concrete construction and have promoted this field.
